High Index provides the thinnest lens available and the product of choice for stronger prescriptions. Request this lens material if your prescription is greater than +3.00 or -3.00.
Polycarbonate is also impact resistant, thin and light, but does not have all the visual properties like Trivex for visual clarity.
Plastic lenses are lighter than glass and a good choice if you want a lower cost lens.
